Darnell Marshall, M.Ed.
Founder
Darnell Marshall, founder is a lifelong educator, mentor, and strategist with an unshakable commitment to equity, excellence, and transformation in K-12 education. Known for his deep-rooted ability to connect with students that others have counted out; Darnell brings over two decades of firsthand experience working with trauma-impacted youth and students navigating complex behavioral challenges.
He works empathetically and achieves results driven by data. As the founder of Marshall Educational Impact Consulting, LLC, Darnell partners with schools and districts to build capacity, strengthen student engagement, and reduce exclusionary discipline practices. He offers research-informed professional development, strategic consultation, and school-based coaching that empowers educators to meet every student where they are especially the ones most at risk.
With a background as a high-performing athlete, Darnell weaves the discipline, teamwork, and resilience of athletic culture into his educational philosophy. His dynamic presence, firm belief in relationship-building, and unwavering focus on student potential have made him a trusted voice for school improvement.
Whether he's in the classroom, leading a PD, or coaching a team of educators, Darnell brings the "Marshall Impact," a transformative approach rooted in accountability, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of educational justice.

Dr. Clara Young
Senior Consultant, Higher Education Strategy & Leadership Development
Dr. Clara Young is a seasoned transformational leader in higher education with decades of experience advancing academic excellence, student success, and faculty development. She brings a proven record of strategic leadership as a former Department Chair, Assistant Vice President, and Interim Assistant Vice President. Throughout her career, Dr. Young has spearheaded initiatives that improve student retention, elevate faculty performance, and strengthen institutional infrastructure.
At Marshall Educational Impact Consulting, Dr. Young supports our mission to promote equity, behavioral transformation, and academic success through data-driven planning, culturally responsive mentoring, and strategic faculty engagement. Her expertise strengthens our consulting services in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and organizational coherence.
Dr. Young has mentored countless students and junior faculty, especially women of color, guiding them toward academic progression and professional advancement. She is also a published scholar and former editor of JRAMP (Journal of the Research Association of Minority Professors), with research interests that include African American student achievement and higher education policy.
Currently retired from full-time academia, Dr. Young continues to serve as a powerful voice for transformational leadership and educational equity. She is also active in nonprofit governance and community development through various foundations.

Sheila Marshall-Miller, M.Ed.
Consultant, Instructional Coaching & Literacy Development
Sheila Marshall-Miller is a nationally certified educator, reading specialist, and instructional coach with more than 30 years of experience supporting student success and teacher growth across Illinois, Missouri, and Texas. She brings to her work the belief that every child is capable of learning at their own pace, a principle that has guided her throughout her career, provided they receive the right support from educators, families, and community stakeholders.
At Marshall Educational Impact Consulting, Sheila leads consulting in instructional coaching, literacy development, and teacher capacity-building. Her work supports our mission to elevate classroom practice, foster culturally responsive instruction, and improve academic outcomes through evidence-based strategies.
An award-winning educator, Sheila holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and a Master of Arts in Education, Educational Leadership from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Her impact extends beyond the classroom through her affiliation with community organizations and her leadership as a business owner committed to equity and educational access.
With a deep commitment to seeing that Aha! moment on every learner's face, Sheila brings unmatched energy, insight, and dedication to the schools and educators we serve.
